Learn this beautiful art form of porcelain painting with a professional porcelain artist.  Classes are held in Marisa's studio in New Malden, Surrey.

During their first term, students are taught how to paint on china and porcelain in the traditional decorative style, learning the brushstroke techniques for traditional European and English flowers.

During the second term, students learn the soft naturalistic technique which is the basis for many styles including naturalistic flowers and portraits.

From this, students can learn various techniques including penwork, raised enamel, gilding and then move on to modern techniques if they wish.

All the pieces are fired in the studio's kilns on the premises.
Top quality paints, brushes and accessories are available to purchase during the classes.

The classes are presently held on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, 10.00am until 12.30pm. Each term consists of 10 lessons with a break for half term. There is a maximum of 8 students in a class.
